Chloe looked at her phone for the one hundredth time, she was supposed to go home last night. She was actually supposed to go home two nights ago, but just hasn’t. Now she’d scrambled to find an outfit from the drawer full of clothes she had at his place and decided last minute to go shopping. She was meant to meet him at the party, the same one her roommate was meant to attend. She hated feeling this nervous. There was one person in particular, she’s met in passing, but that was before she and Noah started... whatever this was. Noah’s best friend. Yules. Someone she wanted to impress, but didn’t actually need to, because she wasn’t Noah’s girlfriend. But deep down she wanted Yules to like her. Though she’d never admit that to anyone. She’s heard the name Yules frequently enough to know they were a big deal. She needed them to like her, but she didn’t know how to do that which was making her nervous. Chloe was standing outside the bar waiting for Nat to text her back, she wanted to make sure she was there before she walked in. Suddenly she heard her name, “Oh- I thought you’d already be inside?” She watched Noah walked closer to her, she looked back at the back. Should they walk in together? Then an idea sparked, “What if we skipped this? Grabbed a pizza, went back to yours, I think we could have a lot more fun there. I know a super cute dog that misses you, and a fresh set of sheets that are calling our name.” She smirked trying to seduce her way out of this party, out of the rejection she’s sure going to experience by someone that matters most to him. “C’mon.”
