There was a ruckus going on in the barn causing Landon to jog to the open door of the barn door. Hearing one of the horses going a little wild he had to assume it was Esmerelda finally going into foal. Running into the barn he skid to a stop finding Darcy already there, “Holy smokes, what do you need? What should I do?” He felt the panic rising and flooding his body but he tried to keep his mind focused on the redhead.

Landon could say that the one thing he was lucky for was the Vane family, Darcy allowing him to stay on their little farm and work with horses something he never thought himself doing. Well it was nice, most kids out of foster system would be living on the streets or bumming with friends and for a little while that’s what he was doing. Seeing the redhead standing around at the party he walks up with a hesitant smile, “Ms. Darcy, you wanna dance? I’m not very good but I promise to step on your toes as little as possible. Mostly,” It seemed rude to just leave her there standing around and it was little gestures that she seemed to like the most. Him picking up the plates after dinner, taking trash out.
