Heddwyn’s first time was with a mortal at a revel held by a seelie lord, it was actually fairly later on in their life than most in the faerie simply due to their parents both treating them like a child and most faeries being to scared to do anything with them. This is actually where they started to dislike sleeping with mortals as this particular mortal man got a bit too attached and eventually had to barred from the Faerie to keep him from bothering Heddwyn who had no interest in anything more from him.

“I’m not a lady, nor am I incapable of defending myself.” They were not unused to mortals making assumptions about them, still that didn’t mean they would not immediately put the ones who voiced them back in their place. “There are many ways to defend oneself and not all include a visible weapon.”

“I see no reason for all this concern, the mortal insulted me so they lost their tongue.” Heddwyn shrugged, “I could have done far worse things to them.”

I've realized that the main difference between Heddwyn and Oban's promiscuity is that he seeks validation in it and uses it as a vice to avoid the reality of being a prince and they just do it because that's how they are. Like Oban would settle down and get serious about a relationship for the right person but Heddwyn has no intention or desire for anything more than one night stands with the occasion repeat.
