“you told me we weren’t going to pick up so many.” kihyun groans as he walks with his hands on the band of his shorts, trying to keep them from falling down from the weight of the sea shells given to him by hyojong every minute he sees a decent looking one. these types of activities never cross his mind along with the majority of activities done with hyojong. he’s always the mastermind of it all and kihyun could decide to play either the henchman or his mediator; he decided it wouldn’t hurt to go along with his plan. it’s a vacation, it should be enjoyed even if it was planned by gossip girl and nothing good could come out from that. “i should have bought that bucket...” he mumbles to himself, watching hyojong and seeing such a great shot during the beauty of the golden hour.
“hold on.” he removes one hand from his shorts and takes out his phone. ideally he would prefer his camera, but he didn’t have it on him and it would be impossible to do it without the chance of his shorts slipping down. he just had to get a shot. he let his finger sit on the button for a second and captured multiple shots of hyojong moving. his silhouette alone was captivating and the glistening water only enhanced the whole mood. of course these are the things kihyun would not admit out loud. it somehow became his role to act tolerant towards hyojong while in reality he does not mind him, no matter what odd ideas he comes up with. “should we head back? at least to put these somewhere other than my pockets?”
