Catherine “C.J.” James
C.J. is a 9 year old Sagittarius with a love for sports, computers, video games, and pop music. Her favorite food is mac and cheese and she’s attracted to all shades of the color blue. She’s fiercely competitive. She wants to join the military when she grows up and possibly become a fighter pilot or an astronaut. She’s not really sure yet. She really likes the sky and wants to explore it beyond the limits of gravity. She has a secret obsession with Star Wars and an even more secret obsession with Kylo Ren.
Because most girls in her school don’t share her interests and she’s at that awkward age where boys don’t really want to be friends with a girl, C.J. tends to keep to herself. Her best friend is her older sister, Angie. Since Angie went away to university C.J. has been slowly growing more and more reclusive. Outside of her sports teams her only social outlet is her dog, Kylo.
Her parents decided to send her to summer camp to develop relationships outside of her family and encourage her to spend her summer somewhere other than her bedroom. She was initially annoyed that her parents were sending her away (BUT DAD! How am I supposed to play Overwatch if I’m stuck out in the WOODS?! ) but the more she thinks about learning to swim and maybe even making friends, the more eager she is to spend her summer at Camp Awasapoa.
