Ollie didn’t know how many of the kids he had once mentored had ended up back in 1973. He hoped it was all of them—he hoped that they were all safe in the past rather than trapped in the future—or worse, dead in the future. His heart was fragile under a tough exterior. He didn’t know what he would do if any of them—even if they rightfully hated him—got hurt in all of this. That was why he was relieved to see Cissie.
