The zombie raised an eyebrow, unsure how to answer the Bat. He knew people slept but he had never had to explain the fact he didn't. Pamela and his friends just accepted he wasn't like them and didn't ask about things like that.
"Grundy doesn't need to sleep. What about you, does the Batman sleep in the day like a real bat?"
“Jack said Grundy's an idiot sandwich...”
“Grundy was hungry, it’s hard to get food when school is out.” He could go to Ivy’s but he didn’t want to interrupt her time with her mom. So of course he had stolen food.
“Lenny said to wait here,” that had been two hours ago and his friend likely had forgotten about it but the zombie fully intended to wait for the smaller boy to return or for one of his other friends to show up.
“Need a hand?” It’s a joke, and the punchline is that his left hand and entire forearm are missing from his arm and currently crawling about on the floor.
“You hurt the Legion, Grundy’ll end you.”
