Washington county. Forgotten and gone. I shot these photos 30 years ago of a log cabin we discovered deep in a pine forest. We revisited the area a few years later and the cabin was completely gone and the land was clear cut. Perhaps it was moved. I suspected then and now that it was very early - perhaps ca 1810. Hand hewing to the max! I was not able to get a frontal shot as it was completely overgrown.
