David had asked Nani if it was alright for him to stop by sometime when just Lilo was home for their reunion. While it wasn't really that big of a deal, he wanted to give the girl privacy and also just check in on how she was doing. Plus Lilo might be able to tell him how Nani's been doing as well. He knew that Nani tended to put on a strong front, so hopefully if there was anything going on, Lilo would be able to tell him. Like if Nani had anyone new in her life. Important stuff.

He knocked on the door, shoving his hands in his pockets as he waited.

“oh m-my god! i can’t believe she said that. please tell me you threw her around like she was a swizzle st-stick, please!” van was leaning against lilo, laughing so hard that her insides were starting to hurt. the girl was still a little unsure if lilo was angry or not but she was hoping to get back to how they used to be. the girl was van’s best friend.
