Despite looking rather fierce, Lochlan is actually a timid bee-keeper, within the City of Executrix. Raising bees in the desert is no easy feat, and especially in a busy city. But he picked out a corner of the city, where he could attract bees, and not bother anyone nearby. Thankfully, his bees seem to be helping the area, especially where flowers and others flowering plants are concerned. And where there’s bees, there’s honey.
Lots of it.
He (ethically) harvests the honey, making it into several things--candy, honey jars, honey combs, and the like. He also keep his hives healthy by harvesting beeswax, and selling it out to artisans within the city, and beyond. His bees are very healthy and happy, and he talks to them every time he visits the hives. Each queen is named, though he sometimes loses track of them.
Lochlan keeps to himself most of the time, and is rather shy and soft-spoken, when he’s approached. He hates confrontation, and cries easily. But if you come to him and want to buy honey or beeswax, or just talk about bees, he’ll be more than happy to talk your ear off about it. And make a sale or three, too.
