Lobco had had mixed feelings when she first heard that Chlomaki had invited Wadanohara and Samekichi over so they could learn more of the surface world. The Sea Kingdom was far from picture perfect but relative to the land where demons were the majority it could certainly be called that. Here there existed few laws to protect people, what with the mentality that anyone who was weak enough to be harmed deserved what they got. She worried about their safety, she worried about the shock they would experience as seeing such a blatantly violent and overtly sexual city, and she worried about what they might find out and take back home with them to her parents.
Yet in the end she could not raise a voice to protest. At best such an action would be interpreted as her thinking lowly of them--as if they would not be able to hold their own. At worst it would just raise suspicions.
In any case it shouldn't be too hard to avoid unpleasantness. If it came down to it Chlomaki, she, and her fellow familiars could keep them safe. Lobco certainly wanted to see the both of them and she had always felt guilty for never making time to visit them after Minami was born, but it was for the best. At the very least said child had been left in the care of her own parents while his own were away.
On their third day here Chlomaki and Wadanohara had left to explore on their own, leaving the two familiars together. The rest of Lobco's little makeshift family were out either enjoying their free time, or running missions for Chlomaki which meant that Lobco and Samekichi were left on their own.
"I'll be done here shortly, sorry. Then we can go out to the town if there's anything you'd like." Lobco reassured, feeling embarrassed that she couldn't provide something of more value for Samekichi. But she still have to finish up inventory to see what stocks they were low on. Currently they were in a large, circular room where in the center sat Chlomaki's cauldron. The ceiling rose high above their heads, much higher than the cozy cottage appeared to be able to reach from the outside. It was clear that its dimensions had been magically altered to be much larger than its outward appearance indicated.
All around the perimeter of this room were shelves that rose to the ceiling into which sat containers full of different ingredients. Lobco was checking the last stretch of the bottom row, clipboard in hand.
"So. What do you think of Pitch World so far, Samekichi?"
