austen and roman hadn’t gotten a chance to hang out for most of the day, so roman wanted to take the other girl to stargaze with him. he opted to grab two cups, a bottle of wine, and made a plate of s’mores for them to share. he laid out a blanket and filled the cups with wine - it wasn’t as good as her spa day, but it was something. once the wine and s’mores were set out, he skipped back to the main part of the campsite, holding out a hand to austen, “babygirl, c’mon. we’re stargazing tonight, whether you like it or not, but i know you’ll like it because it’s me.”

When one made their way around the United States by car a trusted motor was necessary. Just before she’d left Toronto over a year ago she’d put a lot of money in to buying the classic style convertible that would see her through. It’d tore down highways and served as a place to crash after long nights with bands at the bar despite the fact she’d easily been able to afford motels or crash with fans but now, despite the thousands of miles it had done, it’d decided to start making weird noises now - on small drives to the store. It was why she was pulling up outside the garage as the evening wore on and as she stepped out of the vehicle and eyed the place she let out a low whistle, slipping her hands deep in to her tight jeans. “Hello?” She called out, wandering in to the building. The smell of oil flooded her nose. “I’ve got a nice car out front and however much cash you want to sort it out. I’ll probably even blow you if you do a good enough job. Unless you’re gross.” She added loudly in to the space, glancing around.

Andy was embarrassed. Andrea Thomas did not do embarrassed but at this very moment in time she was hitting the rockbottom of shame; stood in some middle age woman’s garden in nothing but her sports bra and girl boxers. Tragic really that she’d been clutching at herself for about twenty plus minutes next to a shrub. At last she heard the wheels of a car and she clutched her phone harder, glad she’d at least grabbed that from the bedside table. Gathering some courage she glanced over the foliage, spotting the car she recognised. “Thank fuck...” She breathed and steeled herself for just a heartbeat before moving quickly toward Austen’s vehicle. She couldn’t tell whether her cheeks had grown hot but as she wrenched open the passenger seat door and slumped down in to seat she expelled a heaving breath. “Thank you...so fucking much Austen. I’ll repay you with anything. You’re a saviour....shit.”

She chuckles. "This. This adorable, charming thing. I'm totally helpless against it. It isn't fair." She says with a small pout.

Rory lets out a soft chuckle, feeling even more at ease now. “Well excuse me for not really caring about fair... cause this” She reaches for one of her arms and pulls it around her waist. “Because this feels perfect.”
