It had taken all of Austen’s courage to show up at Rory’s, and as they stood on the balcony, she nearly forgot why they were there - until she was offered a drink. She turned it down before worrying her lower lip. Looking back out at the view, she took a deep breath. She had never spoken in front of Rory before. “I-I want… you have nothing..to worry about.” She was finally able to quietly state. “From me..about Austen.” She wasn’t even the one chosen, and she had hated seeing Rory here at first. She didn’t want Rory to think she was going to try and take Austen. God knew people enjoyed to gossip and say cruel things. That’s why she was here - to tell Rory personally that there was nothing to worry about. At least concerning herself and Austen. She couldn’t speak for other girls wanting her. However, she didn’t like that Rory was drinking; it wasn’t good for Austen.
She leaned further onto the railing, letting her elbows take most of the weight of her body, letting the bottle dangle in the air from her closed hands around it. She looks over. She didn’t know the extent of things between Alessandra, not really, but seeing her there had caused more jealousy than she would like to admit. Being who she was though, she wouldn’t show it. Her eyes narrow slightly, trying to figure out what she was talking about. “Oh.” is all she says for a moment after the other woman elaborates further. “Wasn’t too worried anyways.” she says shrugging lightly. “You don’t really seem the type to go steppin’ on toes or anything.”
