Works directly under the empress. Tends to carry out messages, reports, letters, anything that has to be given to the empress. He will also be the one that the empress give her responses too.
He was found as a young child outside a disease riddled village. There were a few survivors but unfortunately none of his family survived. The reader was the one who found him and brought him in. As he got older, he sort of stuck to the empress due to her being the first face he remembered seeing.
Either really well liked by people for his rather shy and kind demeanor, or majorly disliked due to his closeness to the empress and the tasks she entrusts to him.
Highly protected by the empress.
Bennett
Works primarily under Diluc but can carry out tasks or help out anyone in the harem. Has a room in the palace, but he also has a smaller room in the harem building that is located right next to Diluc's room.
Everyone in the royal palace adores him. Even if he makes some mistakes, which happens an unfortunate amount of times, he is always very apologetic and will run himself ragged trying to make things better.
Lowkey the first son of the harem.
With the consorts he is rather close to Diluc, Kaeya, Itto, and Kazuha.
The empress is rather neutral when it comes to Bennett. She allows him to stay around the harem members and take care of more simple matters for them. If he continues to lessen the load on Diluc and you're higher ranking consorts then you see no problem with him helping them out.
Lumine
Is the main lady in waiting to the empress.
Deals with a range of things in regards to what she does for the empress. She is essentially a personal assistant to the empress, handling all her personal and court affairs.
Lumine (and Aether) are of noble birth but their house was basically decimated when they were younger. Lumine ended up taking a lot of minor jobs before she finally met the empress on accident. It didn't take long for the empress to take in Lumine, first as a servant but she quickly rose up to being the empress's lady-in-waiting.
It was lumine's suggestion for the empress to marry Aether. You would have refused if it wasn't for the trust and friendship you developed with Lumine.
Ayaka, Eula
Both of them have similar positions. Eula is the empress's general whereas Ayaka takes the role as the empress's personal guard but also second-in-command.
Ayaka is probably the closest person, outside of Harem members, to the empress. They knew each other long before the empress agreed to marry Ayato. She tends to talk the empress down when she is overly agitated or frustrated. Has on rare occasion seen the empress be vulnerable.
The empress met Ayaka when she was 17 and Ayaka was 19. It quickly started from a truce, to an alliance, then to an friends and then she married Ayato. (Surprisingly, Ayato was the first one to bring it up to Ayaka about a marriage between him and the empress).
Eula is not as close personally to the empress but the empress still highly trusts Eula. Eula is in charge of the main branches of her military and makes most of the calls.
Sloane wasn't sure how long she had been sitting there; on the black little bench, outside the hospital; watching as patients, loved ones, and medical personnel entered and exited the grand building. While she was aware of where she was, and that it was late, her thoughts were focused on much bigger things. Scarier things. Oddly enough, the commotion around her was comforting. But not as comforting as the man was that would eventually venture through the sliding doors. She'd push herself up off the bench, and slowly turned to face him, hands buried deep in her zip up hoodie; a tight lipped smile thrown at him. "Hey, Benny--" She greeted, sweetly, the tightness in her features loosening more and more as he grew closer. Truth was, Sloane had known Bennett for quite some time, and he become a most loved individual in her life. Not only did he offer her his expertise during her draining and long battle with IVF; he was also the person who held her as she lost her child. He was one of the people who made sure she ate, and didn't die in her bed for the 2 months she paused her life. And back in December, on her son's due date-- he was the one who pulled her out of the bar, at a ridiculous hour, with double her body size in tequila shots, and made sure she returned to her bed without a DUI or the assault charge she surely would've had against her ex-wife. He had been there in the most darkest of times, and he still haven't cut her off. She was truly grateful for him. "I know it's late, and you're probably tired, and the Mrs's is probably waiting on you-- but, how about a cup of coffee and the grand breakfast slam from the diner down the road?" She asked, "My treat." Sloane added, with a more genuine smile, but this to, would fall shortly after from the nerves and choked up sadness she was trying so hard to suppress. She offered up another attempt at a smile, but this one fell shorter then the rest. "Please." She tacked on, softy, and in a way, pleadingly.
“Hey,” the doctor spoke with a warm smile on his face as he closed his door to his office and placed his laptop into his backpack. Wesley was meeting many of the doctors and he had met Bennet a few times since he had started and they had spoken for a few times as well. Wesley could tell how kind and nice the other was. They seemed so very similar to him. It was easy for Wesley to make friends and get along with people and he was glad that he was slowly building some friendship especially after a crazy month of moving and finally settling.
“I did not know you were working late tonight,” he spoke still smiling. @bennett-miller
i love the ending of the first episode so much. we spend the whole episode wondering who wilford is and then we finally find out it's melanie. i spent the entire time waiting for a mediocre white man to appear so when i found out it was a woman running the train i got so excited. it was such an amazing twist for the end of the first episode especially because it also gave us so many more question like if mr wilford did actually exist.
Location: The fair. (Cotton candy stand)
people: @bennett-miller
“How about we get some more cotton candy?” Eric asked Ollie as the the way carried the little kid so that they could see over the stand and look at what type of cotton candy they wanted. “Do you want to get your new friend something too?” Eric smiled asking Ollie who was also carrying a new stuffed animal that Wesley had won him.
Ollie placed the stuffed animal to his ear. “Ti says he wan blu,” Ollie answered excitedly. “We share the tee of us,” the kid added.
Wesley could not help but smile as he watched the interaction between Eric and Ollie and listened to the two of them. Ollie was his light and he could see that Ollie was being the same way for Eric. Wesley thought back to how excited and supportive his brother was when he found out that he was going to be an uncle. They were the first to meet Ollie and he had been in Ollie’s life since day one. He saw the bond the two had, something strong. Wesley kept smiling as he turned to see a familiar face.
Wesley had texted Bennett and cashed in his rain check for drinks. He was excited that the other was free and agreed to meet him at Holy Spirits, the male had never been before. There were many places that Wes had not had the chance to visit since he had been in town for a month plus now. Wesley had said good bye to Ollie earlier in the day before Ollie’s grandmother took him to the zoo. He had ignored the text and phone calls from his dad and sighed as he put his phone away and waited for the other. Wesley looked around and was impressed how nice the place was.
