Being that the place was so hectic, Curtis had decided to take advantage. With everyone running around, the pool was all but abandoned, leaving it the perfect place for him to lounge out and relieve some stress. But of course, the one day he’d decided to go, there was someone else there. And this time, a familiar face. “well, I’ll be...” he trailed, tossing his towel and things down on a nearby chair. “If it isn’t an old friend.”

Summer was, obviously, the busy time for the lake, the marina he worked at included. Often times, on busy days, Stitch offered to take quieter jobs in the back or the kitchen, not wanting to encounter too many people. Today, he had chosen the kitchen, which left him coming home smelling of frier grease and eager to take a shower. So eager that he was walking even quicker and usual, not noticing as his keys fell out of his pocket as he passed through the lounge.

she let the little dog pull her towards her friend, having the responsibility of watching her mothers rat dog for the day while her mom and her sister were at work. “hey fawn,” she said, the dog yapping towards the other, “aphie slow the hell down dude,” she muttered as dot dropped the leash and ran towards fawn. “you need to help me take care of this thing today, we don’t get along that well.” @fondly-fawn

Phillip craved nature. There was something deep in him that always yearned to be near it, and always had. So often, when he had a minute to himself, he would escape to somewhere where he could be at one with nature. If it was a secret enough place, he’d bring a book. But today, he had chosen somewhere a little closer, but also a little more public, so the book would have to wait. Instead, he was sat on a park bench, eyes loosely focused on the horizon ahead as a podcast played in his ears. Not to be fooled, though, he had his music pulled up to switch it to if someone came up that would question his podcast listening. But for now, he was taking in the greenery around him, letting his mind absorb the information in his ears as his skin soaked in the sunshine.

Fawn let out a relieved sigh as her apartment number came into view, she had been rolling her luggage around all day and the only thing she wanted was to get into her house and finally get settled in. She was completely aware of the fact that she was going to have a roommate, but she wasn't sure who it was. She hadn't even made the slightest bit of effort to try figuring it out either. Fawn was the type to keep to herself most of the time, and she figured that the person she was going to be living with wouldn't be bothering her much anyway. Fawn quickly unlocked the door, softly closing it behind her as she walked into the house. Her eyes instantly locking on the boy sitting on the couch. The girl furrowed her eyebrows, as she set her luggage down. Not sure what she was supposed to say. "Guessing you're my roommate." She questioned before continuing. "I'm Fawn, by the way." The girl nodded as she studied the boy's features. It would be an understatement to say that the last person Fawn could see herself living with was him, not even knowing anything about him, she was almost positive that they were completely different and living with him would be more of a challenge than she expected. "I'm assuming you got first pick at the room, so I'm just gonna go unpack." The girl nodded, picking her luggage up off the ground as she began to walk and look for the extra bedroom.
