James was at the bonfire for a good half hour before he felt overwhelmed, mostly do to the open flame in the middle. James was by far not a fan of fire. James had ended up by the stables, sitting in the open pasture, watching the pegasi run around as he read a book. He didn’t even see the other approach until he heard her behind him. He jumped slightly. “Sorry, you startled me,” he told Maisie.
“What is that supposed to mean?”
