“To be rather than to seem to be”
Kailer Vanderhart did not have the perfect childhood in fact the first few years of his life have been blocked from his memory. His first memories are from when he was six and bouncing around from foster home to foster home, until the age of nine when he was taken in by his aunt. The story is that his mother was too young and too unfit to care for him, so gave him up after having him for six years. It took two more years after that for his mother’s sister to pry out the information of where she put him and how to find him. Dramatic, isn’t it? After being adopted by his aunt, life calmed down. He has in a solid home and going to rather nice school. His aunt and uncle were the best parents he could have asked for. They did all the things parents should such as feed, shelter, clothe, support, and love him. He treated them respect and did as he was told, at least at home. At school was another school. As he grew up, Kai got angry and more aggressive. He was a fairly known bully in his large middle school and by junior year of high school he had been kicked out of two schools. His adoptive parents gave him one last chance before they have to pull him out fully and send him off to fend for himself. He got his act together somewhat. His last years of high school, he stopped fighting, but he continued to drink and smoke and cause havoc off of school property. Somehow the boy managed to maintain a GPA high enough to get him into CFU. Kai was drawn to Beta Phi Tau pretty quickly since they shared some of the same values as him; drinking and partying. His days at CFU all blur together, so much so that he still has no idea how he became Sergeant at Arms for his fraternity. Though this is last year at CFU and he’s already made quite the name for himself since this boy will literally do dare you challenge him with and he has broken many hearts over the last three years, but now he wants to sit back and enjoy his last year. Yet, that won’t stop him being the bad a** he has made himself out as.
