shady business | raul & nell
@bloodapples
Finding a place to conduct the meeting with the vampires requesting her services was a challenge in and of itself. Nell certainly wasn’t going to invite an entire clan of vampires to Bea’s home, not willing to put her sisters anywhere near such a risk, even if they wouldn’t be able to enter without permission. Plus, Bea didn’t like vampires in the first place. None of her friends homes were viable because of the very same reason, and Jared’s farm wouldn’t do seeing as...well— they’d yet to make any progress on the fight that had erupted between them before she’d been taken by the Ring. So carefully weighing her options, she eventually settled on renting an Airbnb for the night. That way, she’d had a concrete address to give the supposed ‘emissary’ that was being sent to her to discuss the proposal.
Generally, she might have been more hesitant to accept business from a entire clan of vampires, knowing that they generally belonged on the more questionable side of the moral spectrum, but between losing her income from the Ring, and all the hospital bills they’d had to pay with their lack of insurance...she didn’t have all that much choice in the matter. If she ran up the credit card her parents gave her with hospital bills, they’d certainly have some questions, and she didn’t particularly like using their money in the first place, even though they had plenty of it. So here she was with her hip propped against the the frame of Airbnb’s open door, newly healed and scarred arms folded over her chest as she waited for a shadow to appear in the night.
Keeping the door closed wasn’t a matter that concerned her. After all, the man wouldn’t be able to enter without her permission in the first place. In addition, she’d gone about setting up plentiful wards as soon as she’d arrived should she need them, erring on the side of caution. Her usual stakes were hidden on her person, and as a last defense, there was Taki slunk over her shoulders, the Ovinikk’s nose twitching as his flaming eyes also looked out into the dark of the evening, a tendril of smoke rising from between his teeth, at the ready to scorch any possible threat that might raise a hand or fang in their shared direction. As Nell waited, the familiar ping of her perimeter spell rang through her, letting her know someone had crossed it’s threshold. He was here.
Clyde x Raul x Lyall || Only a Fool
“Hey, forensics-boss! Yeah, come over here”
They were in the same room now as every day. Ever since their first and last meeting, they never bothered to speak to each other again but Clyde wasn’t really satisfied with that. Raul was boring and seeing someone doing all the boring stuff each and every day well.. He could only hope that it wasn’t contagious.
“I got a mission for you, man” He let the ring dangle in front of the male’s eyes, still out of breath. One would assume that he was certainly troubled. Clyde was really good at that. “There was an accident.. or maybe more than that. Either way, you gotta help me find out who that belongs to. It’s evidence I’m certain!” Yes, he had stolen a ring in a slightly drunken demeanor. However, it hasn’t gotten out so far and thus he assumed that it probably never would. His roommate was thinking, perhaps pondering over how serious someone like him could be. Fair enough, he gotta admit that, though Clyde has never been known to be patient. Long story short, he dropped to his knees, taking one of Raul’s hands, looking him straight in the eye. “You need to help me, Raul. It’s important”

Clydeknew he wasn't the most popular guy on this island. In fact, the listof enemies grew and grew and he was perfectly content with that. Whatsurprised him, however, wasn't the nature of the call but realizingwho it was from. “A good time? Last time I proposed that you toldme to “mind my own business” so I wouldn't “ruin yourreputation”, whatever that means”

"Culture is Pride, Pride is Success”
Raul was born the only child in his family, and boy are his parents glad that they stopped procreating after him. He's always been a trouble maker, and basically is a bottomless pit. People compare him to Jughead Jones in the amount of food that he can put away, and he is entirely unabashed by his never-ending appetite. He's a friendly guy, however, and is the last person that you would expect to be mean to someone. He's also known for scaling things that ought not to be scaled, and is often found in randomly high places for no apparent reason. The main reason that he joined the Sigma house was because his bosom buddy Park decided he was going to rush, so he figured he might as well go along for the ride. Fast forward to their senior year and they somehow managed to become the president and vp, which he is pretty sure is a decision that everyone questions. Raul is known for mooching food off of anyone he can get food off of, so if there is free food anywhere on campus... you can basically count on him being there. He's also pretty lazy, but is surprisingly agile when he actually gets moving.

"Com licença, senhorita, mas acho que essa é a minha vaga de estacionamento." O homem falou gentilmente, mostrando seu cachá e apontando para a placa dourada na frente da vaga.
Are you sure Raul and Wyatt are nothing more than friends? They look a little too bromantic.
I'd call it a bromance, though sometimes it does seem like they're starting to phase the bro out of bromance if you know what I mean
