One of the positives about her adopted mother’s relentless attempts to earn her affection was the outrageously expensive motion camera she’d received as a graduation present. Elli made a few upgrades since, but this was the first real opportunity she had to put the camera to good use. “God, why do all these soccer players look so obsessed with themselves?” Elli snided, clicking through a series of photos she’d snapped at one of their recent practices. “Watch us not even make it to the to finals, that’ll be such an ego-crusher.”

Sawyer picked at the sign while he waited for Rob to arrive. Out of all the people in the school, the four on yearbook were part of the very small group who he could actually handle. looking at the sign it was a wonder people even got it this scratched. Seriously, did someone take a mechanical cat and have a go at it? Who knew honestly. Freshmen be crazy these days. He looked up once he heard footsteps and smiled at the approaching Rob. “Hey man, you like rose macaroons and weird sodas because that’s what I got for you.” He said, holding them out.
