One of the positives about her adopted mother’s relentless attempts to earn her affection was the outrageously expensive motion camera she’d received as a graduation present. Elli made a few upgrades since, but this was the first real opportunity she had to put the camera to good use. “God, why do all these soccer players look so obsessed with themselves?” Elli snided, clicking through a series of photos she’d snapped at one of their recent practices. “Watch us not even make it to the to finals, that’ll be such an ego-crusher.”

who: @rob-ioane​ when: end of september. where: sav’s dorm.

With his back against the wall, Marcello sat stiffly with a slumbering Sav’s head on his lap. He played with her hair quietly, keeping his gaze forward as if it was possible to physically pretend Rob wasn’t sitting a few feet from him. He had no real problems with the other, but he certainly had no incentive to talk to them. It was just like Sav to do this; force him into something he would rather not do only to pass out in the middle of it and leave him with the consequences. Though, he supposed he had dealt with a lot worse than a bit of awkward silence. He stole a glance at Rob, wondering how long they would willingly wait here for Sav to wake back up. Marcello looked to the door, and with a sigh he gestured to Sav’s nightstand. “Could you pass me the bottle in that drawer?” he asked cordially, a blank look on his face as he waited for Rob to comply.
