   Jamie knew how tried Winnie was, after playing with Baxter, painting and baking with her great grandfather. He knew she would be happy to hang out with him, just like how much he enjoyed playing with her. His grandfather did love Winnie and treated her like one of his own which was something that Jamie never questioned. Jamie had grabbed the teddy bear that his grandfather had gotten her when they went to the mall as he carried his sleeping daughter. 

He smiled as he closed his car door and knocked on the door and waited for Serena to answer.

“It’s a left right here.” Serena recognized the road like it was just yesterday she was living there. Though, it was an entire lifetime ago. Serena took a deep breath as she exited the car. “Thank you.” She closed the door behind her before taking a step up onto the curb. As she took in the view of the house, it took everything in her to not turn around and jump right back into the Uber. Biting down onto her bottom lip, her exit window to escape drove off and almost instantly her phone chimed in her bag to signal the last of her battery life. With slow footing, the blondge managed to make it to the front door and before her hand could reach up to knock, the door was opened and the familiar figure of her former life partner stood before her. “Mason...” She smiled awkwardly. “How the hell are ya? I was just in the area... thought i’d stop by and say.... hello.”

Fifteen more minutes until close, and Danielle was counting down actually. Not that she didn’t love her regulars and everyone that came in, it had just been a long night. The brunette just hoped that no one else came in. Especially since it was last call. But she heard the door open and that was when she seen the other brunette. Serena. The girl had teased her in high school, and hadn’t been the most friendliest person towards Dani. This woman couldn’t be the same as what she had been back then right? Danielle certainly wasn’t, even though she still loved to read, and loved her family. That was just something that wouldn’t change. But that didn’t mean that Serena was still the same person she once knew. So instead of having the other bartender wait on the brunette, Dani made the decision to do it herself. Be the bigger person or whatever.  “Welcome to Flanigan’s what can I get you? Just so you know we are on last call.”

Jacen had seen very well how the woman he’d married for the sheer revenge of it all had opted to carelessly spend money. Sure it was for charity or whatever, but it was also the fact that she had yet to give him a single penny of the money he’d requested. That was at the end of the day all he felt he deserved. The least that she could do, and yet she had yet to do it, so he was turning up the heat on the situation. She wouldn’t give it to him, he would break some laws of his own, break into her apartment and start selling off and moving her things. He got nothing, she didn’t deserve anything. Sometimes he wondered how his mother would react to the man he’d become and then he realized that it didn’t matter because she died saving a girl that couldn’t be bothered to remember the sacrifices.

Anger coursed through him as he thought about the fact that he grew up and was now living without the only person that had mattered in his life because of her and her family. His mother hadn’t deserved to die, nor had she deserved to pay for someone else being a supernatural. She was just a maid in a house where supernaturals lived, and yet she paid for just trying to make ends meet. He heaved a sigh as he headed to pick up Serena. He’d rented a truck to move Liv’s stuff out in. “Hey, beautiful, I hope you’re prepared to break some laws because we’re about to ruin a life tonight,” he told her with a hint of a wicked smile. He gave her a sideways hug as he greeted her.

Landon could feel a set of eyes on him. With the newly lit spliff between his fingers, he looked up. A moment of shifting eye contact, checking to see if they were looking at him or if it was just in his head before he opened his mouth. “Did you, like, want a hit?” He asked, voice a bit sluggish.

     “What was it you wanted again?” The cool air blowing from the overhead fans of the quaint gelato shop had Marinus stooping to check his reflection in the glass of the freezers displaying the tubs of ice cream while he spoke to his sister. He wanted something sweet after a long day of class, and it was lucky for him that Serena was available for him to steal away. “I don’t know myself...” he hummed as he straightened up, tapping a finger to his lips as he looked at the variety of options. “I hope I’m not keeping you from all your boyfriends, Rena. It’d be such a shame.”

Atalia had been alternating visiting Briony and Chryson, only taking small breaks to eat or stretch her legs. She’d left Levi with Chryson, with the excuse of needing some fresh air, and had quickly left St. Mungos, though she didn’t go far. Rounding the corner, she slammed her hand against the wall. First she had to worry about the Death Eaters attacking the ones she loved because of their choices, but now she had to worry about the Blood Thieves? Atalia slammed her fist against the wall again before hearing someone walk up. “What do you want,” she asked with a slight groan, turning around. “I’m not--Serena?”
