a hallway that goes on forever, the happiness of a friend long lost, sunflowers that follow the sun, seven trumpets, pluto time, a white russian, letters strewn about a desk; unanswered, booming voices which thunder across a room, an energy that turns all eyes toward it

You used to be afraid of the dark. How your mind would play tricks on your eyes, and phantom whispers would lull you to oblivion. The sound of glass breaking, and the worry you would be caught sneaking about long hallways. But you’re not scared anymore. At least, you don’t appear to be. Not with your sunny smiles and good natured laugh. You seem to draw people in with your disposition, eyes wide and glimmering with secrets. The rumors which follow you are mostly false, or at least that’s what you want them to believe, but every now and again you catch a glimpse of what you were in the bashful looks of the stagehands you control. Yes, you are not afraid of the dark anymore, you have embraced it.
