You wouldn't be able to tell, but Wayland has shockingly low self-esteem! Answering what he likes most was incredibly difficult because he, secretly, doesn't like all that much about himself. But! He is Working on that!

Oh you know :) (he won't say his dad, but it's his dad)

18. have they ever had their heart broken?

Mmmm I don't think in the romantic sense, but definitely in the familial/platonic sense.

Perithecia

23. when do they feel the most beautiful?

Perithecia is Beauty Incarnate. She has never in her unlife felt less than perfectly beautiful.

26. do they like to collect things? if so, what?

Bones, to be added to the Storm in the Grave. Souls, if she's feeling feisty.

28. what is something that helps to comfort them?

Daughter Nature's unnerving presence. It makes the plague that has stapled her soul back to her body tingle and she almost feels alive again.

33. when creating your character, did you take inspiration from characters in other media? or just other media in general? name them, if any!

I really can't pin Peri down on any existing media, tbh. She truly appeared to me fully formed, astral projected into my brain, and her character came into existence. I'm sure her commanding presence came from somewhere, but it is not somewhere that I know!

Perithecia: The way she can make people shake just by glancing at them.

Wayland: Natural charm.

9. who do they admire? why?

Perithecia: Daughter Nature, who is her god

Wayland: He's got a childhood friend he hasn't heard from in some time who he always admired for their attitude towards life

14. do you have a favourite conversation that they’ve had with another character? briefly describe it!

Perithecia: Hmmmm... I really liked that NPC interaction she had in her intro, I thought that was very fun, but also I love any time she spoke to Grier.

Wayland: Oh he and Eliu had a lovely conversation while walking into the Biblioplex that just kept going and got very meta after a while. That was fun.

34. pick a character that they know. what is something that they do that your character finds charming/endearing?

Perithecia: She will never ever admit it, but she thinks the way Grier is is very endearing. She loves tolerates that fucked up dog.

Wayland: He doesn't... really know anyone yet? I think if he had seen the letter Scribbler slipped under the door to Locket, he'd love that. Maybe Scribbler's naivety?

35. pick a character that they know. what is something that they do that your character finds annoying/frustrating?

Perithecia: The lack of tact that some of her teammates (Grier) had was frustrating at times, even as it was endearing. Also anything the Vamp team said she thought was annoying.

Wayland: Oh whoever that little punk was that judged him because of his family sucked.

26. do they like to collect things? if so, what?

Nikola: I think he mostly collects bits and bobbins that he might be able to use while artificing or to magically launch at someone. Otherwise, I think he's typically too preoccupied within his own head to think about collecting.

Reese: Reese would be the type to collect just weird little rocks or oddly shaped sticks. Growing up, I imagine she would wander through the forest and collect the shiny things and the funky things and bring them home to the druids, but mostly dropped that habit once she left home, for practicality's sake.

Wayland: Uhhhhh no. Not sure why, but no collecting here.

33. when creating your character, did you take inspiration from characters in other media? or just other media in general? name them, if any!

I can't say that I've had any quantifiable identifiable inspiration for any of my characters really. Nik is maybe sorta based on the trope image of a nutty professor, but beyond that, I really don't think there's anything that I can really call out as inspiration for anyone.

42. how similar is your character to you?

Nik: Incredibly, but in a caricature way.

Reese: Not particularly. We maybe share our tendency to let any distress roll off our backs.

Wayland: I don't know him very well yet! I'd say we probably share some characteristics, but overall he's not all that much like me. This answer might change.
