ah I was thinking that big huge one on his arm was new but I wasn't sure if I just hadn't noticed it before! I'm not an observant person I honestly didn't even notice him getting tattoos in the first place so I haven't seen a play & pause button one, I'm gonna look out for it! 👀

hey eridan, i've always been too shy to come off anon but i want to say thank you for your message. as someone who followed you from the peak, i really was happy to see you guys back. it reminded me of happier times. whenever you're feeling low i hope you know there's more people than you know out there who are affected positively by just the little things.

ooh no that's okay! I've covered "what will you do with it when you get it?" so I won't include it but JUST KNOW IT'S THERE. and it goes without saying that I have my goggles and my tinhat firmly on for this

1. "you can just lean against [the tree] and then I'll come towards you and just kiss you?" he's not riffing off anything he just SAYS it. saying the quiet part out loud

2. "I'm just smelling ya hair." he's mesmerised. look at his face?? whatever else, I'm 99% convinced ant had a bit of a crush at this age

3. "what happens now?" "we lick each other's faces off" ha ha ha ha. it won't let me upload the gif, here. thinking about it now it's always dec saying let's just get off with each other, what can it mean

4. ?????? the realistic part of my brain thinks they must have told him to do that or why on earth would they leave it IN THE IDENT but on the other hand that would be so weird. there's also that picture I haven't found yet of dec climbing over ant and putting his hand right in his crotch so I just don't know man. they’re very uh. they’re very comfortable with each other

1. the bgt hug. I, personally, will never get over it. it looks so warm and safe. they love hugging each other?? sometimes when they do it looks like letting two magnets snap back together I DON'T know how to describe it

2. dec supporting ant in 2018. dec saying that if ant had made any excuses at all for what he'd done he'd have walked away from him (OOF!) but he didn't make any excuses. that's a lot of integrity from both of them, and the fact that their relationship could have broken down shows how remarkable it is that it didn't

3. THE. PICTURE ON THE SOFA. sometimes they do something and you think - this would sound unrealistic in fanfiction. oh when they're just hanging out on the sofa they sit so physically close together their bodies are touching? that's a bit over the top. god bless lisa for the yeah they are actually always like this. anyway with all evidence of dec resting his head on ant's shoulder at any opportunity I am willing to bet that's usually the way it goes as well

4. "he's very quick with his tongue" "what will you do with it when you get it?" sorry literally what am I witnessing here. and as a bonus, all the flirting they've ever done

5. ant & dec on fist of fun!!! and the fact that lee & herring did a&d unzipped in return, or vice versa I can't remember. were they fans?? I don't know .... that would make my day. a clash of worlds. two double acts that have my heart

could have written 6498434 of these obviously because there's an ENDLESS WELL of moments but also bonus because I've just remembered it the fucking finger rub in the bgmt clip (it's so intimate!!!!)

top five moments of ant and dec at the ntas?

ooh thank you oh gosh! these are in no particular order and they're all obvious moments really, there must be others that I don't know off the top of my head

1. the award after the rehab year. the look dec gives of SHEER love and pride. squeezes his shoulder and hugs him when he says he's shaking. ant looks like he's about to cry the entire time and the whole audience is happy that he made it through. it's quite hard to watch knowing the year they're about to have but they CAME THROUGH THAT TOO

2. this year's awards. when they're walking up to the stage, ant holds his arm out for dec, dec leans to the side to hug him, briefly rests his head on him for a quick cuddle and ant gives him a squeeze. he looks like a child. it's such a snapshot of that part of their early dynamic. and OF COURSE ant pressing his forehead to dec's so they can have that moment just to themselves

3. when they're getting up to receive the landmark award (I think), ant reaches to hold dec's hand softly and dec slips his other arm through ant's to hold him all in a sort of fluid movement, it's another moment where the intimacy sort of astounds me, the physical affection that comes so easily to them

4. "I love you, man. I love you to bits." obv. they're both feeling emotional about their friendship in that moment and even though dec says "it's a career based on a friendship" so much it's sort of lost all meaning, I just can't imagine how overwhelming it must be for that to be true. like? it must be deeply emotional to know they're uniquely successful because of how well they click and how much they love and help each other

5. the win after ant's year away. it's ant speaking first because he knows dec's so overwhelmed he's about to lose it, kissing his shoulder as he hugs him and holding his neck as he tells everyone he has the best friend in the world. topped off by that youtube comment from god knows who saying that afterwards dec burst into tears and ant just held him really tight. GOD
