The Chartered Accountancy (CA) is known as one of the toughest professional course in India. CA program is provided in three levels which are the foundation, intermediate, and the final course by the Institute of Chartered Accountancy of India. Every year many students appear for this examination but few of them get the chance to be a CA. So, here are all the things you should know about CA.
Eligibility to pursue CA
The students who have passed their 10+2 from any stream can pursue CA. A student who had completed his 10+2 can enroll for the entry-level CA Foundation course. After completing four months of the study period you have to register to appear for the CA Foundation Course Examination. You can also directly enroll for CA intermediate after completing graduation.
Different stage of CA
The ICAI divided the CA course into three stages which are Foundation, Intermediate, and final course. After your 10+2 you can register for CA Foundation Course with 4 months of the study period and then after clearing the CA Foundation Examination you can enroll for CA Intermediate Course with 8 months of the study period. Then you need to pursue Articleship of 3 years and then you have to clear the Final Couse Examination. The duration after 10+2 is about 4.5 years.

After becoming a Chartered Accountant you have a wide range of job opportunities in companies. A Chartered Accountant can also work privately. Chartered Accountants are involved in accounting, statutory auditing, tax auditing, banking, and much more. A Chartered Accountant is also responsible for the core accounting work of an organization. They can design an efficient financial system for their organization.
Salary of CA
CAs are involved in many works like accounting, taxation, finance, etc. So, their salary depends on the type of work they are doing. But, the average salary offered to a fresher is up to 6 lakh per annum.
