While Narukami is very trusting and forgiving, most notably seen in his relationship with Adachi, he does indeed wish to be more wise in terms of understanding people. His naiveté cause him to be to Adachi’s hidden emotions and personality for so long, and even the revelation didn’t immediately sink completely in at the time. As understanding as the teen is, he does wish that he could be more aware of people’s intentions and true thoughts; if only to keep himself from being hurt as a result of getting too close to the wrong people.
