Caasimolar
Caasimolar, President of Hell (former)
Hell worked differently under the rule of Dios, the Nine Lords were more like equal partners, Dios being more of a First among Equals, as all of the lords had a common goal. They council worked together as a unit to defeat the Demons, and to keep everybody from fighting each other a President of the ruling council was appointed so that everybody would play nice. This was Caasimolar, the diligent, efficient and pointlessly sadistic loyal stooge of Dios. His primary role was maintaining Spies in all of the courts to keep the various factions united. However, he made a critical mistake, he assumed that only the Lords of the Nine could be the main threat to Dios, and so it was to his absolute horror that Asmodeus was able to slip past his defenses and pull a coup in the heart of Nessus. Cas fought on behalf of Dios in the uprising, but after Belial switched sides, Caasimolar surrendered. Secretly however he remained loyal to Dios and constantly tried to assassinate Asmodeus. When one of his agents was caught, the Lord of the Nine sent a delegation to Caasimolar’s fortress to investigate. Caasimolar slaughtered all of the delegation, and declared himself in open rebellion, though he was driven out after a short battle, and went to join his master in the Inferno. Now he operates as Dios’ spymaster and constantly tries to find allies and sow disunity among the ranks of the Devils. Moore than any of the Dios forces he is willing to work with good adventurers in order to achieve his goals, and has been know to serve as a sort of an evil Deus ex Machina from time to time (if only there was a word for that).
