Also, any UofR kids, for the love of Christ, stop bitching about Marketplace Cab and use someone else. The discount is not worth the hassle that company gives everyone. Seriously.
I've dealt with this company a few times and the service is great: http://eastavetaxi.com/ There are so many reasons East Ave Taxi is great, I can't even verbalize them. They arrived promptly, sent me a text with the cab number and the cellular number the cabbie would be calling from, kept all identification in plain sight, and helped me get my excessively heavy luggage inside the train station. Please feel free to give these guys your service. They're brilliant.
