kellan dawes 35. auror. grade a grump

so this is kellan and he basically has many layers to him. the outside layer is this charismatic partier type who goes out and gets drunk commonly. he sleeps around frequently and he really does believe that romance is dead. he was married for about three months before things fell apart because let's be honest, he didn't really want to be married in the first place. essentially, he only got married just to prove that he could be monogamous. there's the work side of him which is a serious, irritable person who goes through work partners like crazy. he worries far more than he ever lets on. being an auror wasn't his first choice, which surprises a great deal of people. growing up quidditch was his life and he was an excellent keeper. he even managed to make his way onto a team after finishing school. he really thought that it was his passion until a quidditch injury caused him to rethink things. he wondered if he was just playing in order to make his parents happy. and he also wondered if he was truly happy while playing. so here he is, years later an irritable auror who takes far too many smoke breaks.

we are aware that queen rowling in all her wisdom believes that there is only one magical school in the entirety of north america, but here at cabb, we disagree. we believe that north america has three very diverse countries and even within those countries the areas and populations would be so diverse and large that one school, ilvermorny, would not be quite enough to cater to everyone. therefore we have several magical schools based in north america that are open to player choice.

as a result we have created several wizarding schools. and your part in this contest is to guess exactly how many schools are on the site. the winner receives one extra face claim.

nora gagnier

ugh. my biggest ball of sunshine; nora gagnier. she's twenty eight years old and on her way to be a healer. her heart is made of everything pure and family is literally everything to her. she's got a bit of a rebellious side but it's never been much paid attention to. everyone simply finds her to be a ball of good and sunshine and nora is quite all right with that.

nadine prince

this little lady of sass. lemme tell you about her. she's 32 years old and currently alleged with the bones. but that's mostly because of family pressure and a long life of knowing a war was to come and her parents already being 'dark people'. she's just a firecracker. having grown up feeling constantly under pressure by her parents and thinking that people were just benefical things for a big part of her life. i swear, she's having a real chage of heart though. she's a curse breaker and when she's bored she likes to break into places.

maeve wolfe

meet maeve wolfe. she's thirty years old and owns a bar called the wolfe's den. she's a chain. her parents and herself moved around a lot while she was a child. they were always quite paranoid about a darkside rising and partook in a sort of... rouge network of people that had their ears to the ground. but it meant constantly moving to follow any rumors that could be leads. they finally settled down when it was time for maeve to attend hogwards. she was a slytherin. and she's a bit flighty with friendships/relationships but i promise she's got a heart of gold under all of her thorns.

The very last of the schools.

you weren’t entirely sure when you’d fallen for her. even if your mind refused to acknowledge it, your heart knew you had. maybe it had been the night that the two of you had slipped away from your homes. you’d ended up in that orchard getting rather tipsy. you’d admitted that you couldn’t slow dance for the life of you. she’d taken that as a challenge and had gripped you perhaps just a bit too tightly. all you remembered was the laughter that escaped you and the way the stars had twirled around you.

when you’d woken up the next morning surrounded by cherry blossoms you realized that it hadn’t all been a dream. your heart hammered perhaps a little too hard and you wondered if she could ever love somebody as terrible as you. 

maybe it had been during the time when your whole identity had been ripped from you. the headlines blurred past you as you stumbled through the street. you didn’t give a fuck about your blood status changing. what you cared the most about was the fact that you could hear the whispers of others. claiming how you were a lesser person now. how they’d always known something was amiss. how your magic was somehow weaker. 

you swore you would have burned down your parents home that night had it not been for her. the pressure of her hand on your arm was enough to pull you back. waking up tangled in the sheets with her brought you back. you played with her hair until she woke up and you realized that she was right after all. she was in fact, good for you.

and yet you didn’t see her again after that night. you left and tried to move on. you thought you were over here yet you found yourself longing for her. you could have easily wrote to her but you didn’t know where to start. you didn’t want to tell her how far you’d spiraled down. how you couldn’t go more than two days without stuffing something up your nose. how your teammates hated you. how you dueled to feel alive. how you wondered if she had all the jackets and hoodies she’d stolen from you.

and then you saw her on that beach and your heart swelled. she’d jumped into your arms and all was right with the world. you were definitely crazy about her, even if your didn’t always see it.
