Also received last week was this sweet CD from Spectral Wound! I’d purchased the “Terra Nullius” cassette (pictured above) back when they sold it a couple years ago. So, why did I need the CD if I already had the cassette and digital download? Well, for one, this band crushes in a way that seldom relents, reminding me of Judas Iscariot’s “Dethroned, Conquered, and Forgotten” EP. Therefore, I want ALL the releases! Two, I collect CDs because they’re like individualized backup drives for an album with a fancy case. I’m a convenience whore in the sense that my music needs to be portable and that rules vinyl out, but also I do like to collect! So CDs, it is. Cassettes are just a nostalgia thing for me, don’t read too deeply into it. Speaking of which, the cassette is currently sold out, but the LP is available through Arcane Angels!
