Super duper Ship It.
I dunno, this is one of those ships where I cant really explain in depth why I really like it, I just kinda do?
They’re both Connoisseurs Sommeliers yet they couldnt be anymore different. Burghundy loathes Cilan for rather petty reasons yet Cilan does nothing but take it all in stride and treat Burghundy seriously as a worthy rival to him, despite the massive gap in experience. And wether she admits it or not, Cilan was technically the reason she became a Sommelier in the first place so in a way he inspired her, albiet in a rather skewed way.
And despite Burghundy’s loathing of Cilan and his kind demeanor where nothing gets to him, she does seem to have a bit of respect for his skills and acknowledges that she has a long way to go before surpassing him I dont really know where romance would come into all of this but the dynamic itself is enough for me to root for it.
