🌵CACTURN : DARK DESERT NIGHT🌵
Cacturne and or Cacnea for the disability assistance ask, maybe? I love the prickly lil dudes, and live in a desert area where I see lots of the little guys wandering about
They can be tricky for individuals who need physical assistance like getting moved around or lifted, however they actually can find and pull moisture from various sources and can filter some of it, essentially being a living reminder to stay hydrated.
Many people aren't well hydrated, disabled or not, and as a result they can be prone to infections and sickness.
They are well aware of the moisture levels inside many things are just by a simple touch, so they can tell how hydrated a person is.
On top of that they naturally can be trained in acupuncture on specific pressure points, allowing them to help relieve pressure on joints, help blood flow, and ultimately encourage relaxation in a person.
They are really helpful for people with Dimentia, individuals who might struggle with self care and depression.
Very helpful little guys.
We know some Rangers out in Hoenn who make use of Cacnea and Cacturn during rescues to make sure that people are well hydrated in the heat.
Prickly lads
I run a competition on my pokemon dnd server every month to design a fakemon and I make a race sheet for the winner of the competition. This months winner was: https://www.instagram.com/orbechan/ with their mega Cacturn design! I think it came out really well.
if you would like to join in the fun the discord link is here: https://discord.gg/6BWtRh9u (this link will expire on 5/15/2020)
A collection of 6 NPCs from my PMDnD game. In order, they are Julia a Luxray private eye, Argos a Cacturn monk, Tara a Ninetales sorceress, Omega a Golduck dock owner, Verdant a Leafeon magitechnician and Elaine a Togetic merchant.
Regional Cacnea and evolution ideas :)
I liked the spooky cactus that Cacturn was, but I felt it wasn’t “complete”, so I went with a sinister Spanish dagger/Yucca plant inspiration. I apologize for my hideous handwriting.
