Caden looked up when he heard his wife come too, relief flooded through him. “Raise all those kids alone.” He told her as he shook his head. “Andi, you shouldn’t get up right now okay?” He tried to soothe his wife. But he shook his head. “Gem is resting, the doctors released her about an hour ago, and Emery grabbed her, so she’s resting at home with all her siblings and Ollie.” Caden just brought his wife’s hand to his lips as he kissed it. “She’s a little banged up, her shoulder was dislocated so she’s a little sore but she got plenty of daddy cuddles and kept asking about you. She’ll be alright though. You took the brunt of it.” He told his wife as he looked up and leaned up kissing her temple gently. “I’m just glad you’re still stuck with a forever with me.” Caden told her softly, his world had stopped when he got a call that his daughter and wife were in the hospital. He nearly lost it not wanting his daughter to ever turn out like him. To feel the guilt of surviving while her mother didn’t. So the fact that he could go home and tell Gemma that she’d be okay would be best. “Our kid is going to need therapy if we keep this up.” He tried to joke.
