What’s a ship week?
A ship week is a fan event where for a week we make works about one ship! Think about it like Inktober, you get one different prompt for each day and you make something out of it, but with the same medium, or, in this case, same ship!
Is this only for fanfiction/fanart?
No! You can use whatever medium you desire for the prompts. The most common methods are fanfiction and fanart, but if you want to create a cosplay or some fake social media posts or anything else your creative heart desires, go for it!
Do I have to do both prompts each day?
No! Each day is designed to have two options, one of which is good for fanart as well as fanfic. You CAN choose to do both prompts if you want, or incorporate both prompts into a single work, but it's designed to give some options and variety!
Do I have to participate in the full week?
You can participate in as many or as few days as you'd like! There's no minimum requirement for participation!
Do we have to create each piece during its own day?
Nope! Some people like the challenge of creating something different every day, but you can totally prepare them in advance if you want to. You don’t even have to complete all of the prompts, you can do just the few you like, no pressure!
How do I participate?
Just create whatever you like with the prompts you’re given and post them under the “#Cadina Week” and “#Cadina Week 2025” tags on Tumblr. We will also have an AO3 collection (keep reading for more info on this).
What's this about an AO3 collection?
Once our AO3 account is fully set up, we will be creating a collection for Cadina Week that you can submit your works to. We will be moderating this lightly, just to make sure that it's actually Cadina Week submissions and not spam, but we welcome all who want to participate!
Can I post NSFW?
Yes, please just make sure it is appropriately tagged on Tumblr and/or AO3!
I really slacked on cadina week this year so pretty much everything is still just sketches so ill just be posting whatever i have
for day one i did fame au and sorta secret relationship. the idea is that regina is famous and known for being a massive bitch, but with cady shes all soft for her and cady is the only one who's able to melt away her icy exterior. on top of this, photographers and papparazzi have been deperately trying to get a picture of the "mystery girl" that Regina George has been spotted with, but no one can get close enough without regina seeing and making them piss themselves. regina wants to keep cady all to herself and cady doesnt want cameras or microphones being shoved in her face so theyre both happy with keeping their relationship out of the public eye (maybe add on that regina isnt out). basically cady has scary dog privilege and thats what gave me the idea for this au in the first place

Regina sighs internally. Another person to make small talk with. She plasters a smile on her face.
Betsy waves someone over. And then, out of a group of congressmen in suits, emerges Cady.
Cady, the girl from the bathroom. Cady, the person Regina just promised to be friends with. Cady, who Regina has known for an hour and can’t stop thinking about.
