If anybody knows of decent artistic reconstructions or even semi-legitimate art of Mycenaean Thebes, the Cadmean Acropolis, or just the palace itself I would be forever indebted to you if you'd point me to them, I've been fighting for my life for months trying to find something and the best I've run across in all that time are

an archeological blueprint of the ruins of possible Old Palace

a very much not historical painting of a Classical-looking interpretation of the city as it gets attacked by titans??

one single fucking painting of the Bronze Age city that doesn't look particularly archeological, has little detail, is like 400x400, and has a huge watermark over it

(meanwhile of course I've found hundreds of supposed results which were actually: the Acropolis in Athens, Thebes in Egypt, Tiryns, the outside of the modern Archeological Museum of Thebes, Mycenae, Knossos, and Solomon's fucking temple).

Why the fuck there are basically no resources on this whole damn city I don't know, but the total lack of the most basic shit I would find for any other site is ruining my life. Thanks!

Wowie, you know also fun fact, Melampus was also trained by Cadmos in the ways of Dionysus, and that honestly wouldn't make any sense on the timeline unless Cadmus was in his snake form.

mr. Nonnus Dionysiaca has a cool version of Cadmus; at least he gets to actually fight the Spartoi, who are like giants, and Eileithyia is there and helps him. She gets to do something!

what I think is wild about this is the descriptions of the Spartoi, cuz imagine this version where they integrated into Thebes as giants, like Thebes now has a couple of dragon-tooth sewn giant guardians.
