Would you survive a zombie apocalypse? i probably would, yeah. but i don’t doubt my ability to end up dying for the dumbest reason either like letting my guard down at an inopportune moment or something. my brain is full of call of duty league rn so,,

If given the chance, would you want to live forever? with eternal youth? yes

Where would you go to start a new life? Pick a country / city. barcelona, spain or lyon, france. for the food and history and i desperately want to learn catalan, french, and spanish before i attempt italian 

What are you most looking forward to at Scarlet Gardens? i’m dying to see the way members of each side interact with each other. from what i’ve seen so far the masterlist is STACKED with some disgustingggg characters and i’m so hype

Muse(s) you’re most excited to see? i feel like... i don’t know enough... to really say yet? but maybe cecile and evander buchanan, the royal twins, zelda, ivonne, and neeve. i’m just v excited to see more about everyone in general because i’m heart-eyes for the project as a whole!

‘jamais arriere’ means ‘never look back’. and that’s what i’m going to do: move with intention with all the love and light i have in me because being miserable and heavy and letting my anxiety and pain get to me isn’t the way for me to live. that’s not my happiness.

I’ve never written/posted any long posts on my personal blog and don’t quite know how to start this off, So i am going to just… Jump into it. 

I was a part of UNHOLY EMPIRE and today, 26 July, I have officially left the project. I was a member of the admin team for six days with the assigned trial run of writing the biography for Constantine. Constantine is the only biography I wrote for this project and was the only thing I had written for this project. I was not a part of the world/lore building post or pre-revamp, nor was I involved in any of the other biographies written in Unholy. However, I take full responsibility for being a part of this project for the length of time that I had to the extent that I had.

I want to take this time to issue an apology to the roleplay community and more importantly to the BI-POC community. I am sorry. I am deeply and sincerely sorry. From the bottom of my heart, it was never my intention to hurt anyone, insult anyone, or ignore anyone. I have not been online these past few days, and I acknowledge the fact that my silence marks me complicit with the decisions made by a project I tied my name to. It is entirely on me that I failed to recognise the issues that still existed within the project and continued to be a part of it peripherally. I do not condone racism in any way, shape, or form and I do not support the decision made by, action taken by, nor continued opinions of Unholy Empire (hence my leaving) that continues to ignore the messages of concern and frustration made by the BI-POC community. As a member of the minority in my own community, I understand how it feels to be unheard, mocked, and insulted and I am sorry that my involvement with Unholy contributed to this hurt that I am so very familiar with myself.

Throughout my time in the rpc and especially in the height of the Black Lives Matter Movement I have worked my best to educate myself so that I can learn what biases I might have grown up with and improve my own self in acknowledging my own faults and moving forward from them as mindfully and more educated than before. This, of course, includes but is not limited to: reading, attending protests, signing petitions, and being mindful to support the BI-POC owned small businesses in my community. However, I am certainly not perfect. With this weekend coming to a close, I hope to continue to take my time to not only reflect on the issues that there had been in Unholy but to move forward and learn both from others through conversations, literature, podcasts, etc. 

If anyone has any last comments on this matter, any recommendations when it comes to books or podcasts, or would like to have a conversation, I welcome them wholeheartedly.

i love my extended family. i hate how fatphobic and appearance-oriented they are. overhead a facetime call that i didn’t know was pointed towards myself and my cousins and sister, and the one comment the relatives on the phone had for me, was “oh. she’s fat”. shrugged it off in the moment and went back to what i was doing, but... oh.
