The Grey Stranger-RP Starter
(Here’s a starter. Hope you like it. ^^ )
Ash wasn’t sure what it was that first tipped him off that he was in a different world. Maybe it was the odd brightness that the daylight seemed to have. Maybe it was the overall lack of people. He didn’t know. All he did know was that by the time he had discovered that the dominant life forms in this world were sentient, multicolored horses—”ponies”, as he learned that they preferred to be called—he wasn’t as surprised as he figured he would be. He tried to greet the locals, but they were apparently not used to creatures of his kind, because they almost immediately began running, clamoring, and eventually calling the guard. While they didn’t perform any violent acts upon him at first, they were rather rough with their attempts to restrain him, which he resisted, trying to reason with them first, then attacking as they tried to take him anyway. Long story short, while they suffered no losses, they had to beat him into submission and chain his wrists due to his rather “belligerent” behavior.
Because Ash was not a pony, the guards couldn’t put him in normal prison. But as he seemed as sentient as they were, to put him in a cage or euthanize him would be considered “cruel and unusual”. Something about laws regarding “non-equine rights”. So, they did the best thing they could: they dragged him to the one(s) in charge—if the “Their Majesties” he overheard was to be believed—so that she could give her say on what should be done with him.
A short while later—after being stared at by many other residents, to which he let out a fox’s snarl to scare them before laughing, as if to say, “What are you looking at?”—they arrived at the castle. Upon entering, Ash whistled in amazement. The castle was, without a doubt, one of the more lavish buildings he had seen in his life. Elegant, but not overly extravagant, he would call it. He had little time to take in the details, however, as he was tugged by his chain. Eventually, they entered what Ash could guess was the throne room...because, well, it had a throne—two, actually—with two winged unicorns (he hadn’t known the term “alicorn” yet) who were wearing crowns. As if he needed further evidence, the guards knelt, before he caught on and did the same.
“Your Majesties,” began the unicorn that Ash guessed was the leader. “Our sincere apologies for the intrusion, but there is a matter of great importance that we believe should be brought to your attention. Namely, this...thing, and what to do with it.” Indignant, Ash stood up. “Excuse me, sir”, he exclaimed with an offended tone, “but ‘this thing’ has a name that ‘it’ told you on the way here, as well as a gender, so ‘it’ would grateful if you would acknowledge those facts!”
