babies :((( i don't have a backstory for this, maybe during an expedition in area zero where they fought a particularly strong paradox pokemon and caelan got slightly injured and nemona was worried about it. i just love the designs, the poses, the expressions, it's everything 😭

i'm in a caenemo brainrot rn and i had a thought.

so like, i think caelan has high stamina. like that girl was literally raised in the wild, walking, running, climbing around everywhere to travel first in paldea and then alola. she had the possibility to get pokemons to ride on but always prefered exploring everything she could by herself especially if it's a new place. and then in alola they spent their teenagehood swimming, surfing, dancing and again, walking everywhere to explore. caelan has high endurance.

meanwhile nemona. it's canon her stamina is lower than the ground. she gets out of breath easily and often needs breaks before/after doing a big physical effort (like how she needed to rest before climbing the stairs in mesagoza or during the area zero expedition). i headcanon her having some kind of motricity disability (that would explain the glove on her arm) or even something like asthma.

and so that's what is cute. caelan, the one who's calm, aloof, almost lazy in behaviour has the capacity of running a marathon breaking minimum sweat if they wanted. meanwhile nemona, who's upbeat, energetic and always excited to do things would collapse on the ground running more than twenty meters without a break.
