It's uh,, artistic interpretation!!

Tbh i didnt notice how weird it looked until it was done (i did the thing in mostly one sitting so i had no chance to look at it with fresh eyes)

I also rarely do backgrounds that detailed/interacting with the character like that so could just boil down to inexperience

Did you do the paralogue with Dedue helping out those Duscur survivors?

I did! When i was talking abt dedue I wasnt at the part where he came back so i was very convinced he was actually gone :,)

imagine my surprise and joy when he just popped back up i was cheering the whole time
