Last term, I learnt that inspite of digging your nose in a book you should try and talk in the language you’re learning with people who know it. And this is the place I put those words in practice. My first meal, which was delicious, in Mexico City was in this restaurant. Where I’ve been for breakfast everyday since. And everyday the waiters are more proud of me, because I learn a word or two more when I meet them. That being said, this is one of the most beautiful things of travelling around, where we build relationships with strangers with time.
This café’s interiors are the most fascinating features to me. With its different seating options, inside and outside, the place provides a warm environment which makes you feel at home. Which is reflected in it’s colour palette as well, with yellow and browns.
