It’s a weird thing - they don’t really stock ‘monstery’ stuff. I think it’s to do with religious stuff.
I don't know about that because Novis are pretty monstrous looking, but it's definitely an idea to think about, thank you!

Huh. See. Now I'm curious if it's a chain owned by a singular company or if they're franchises. Both my local one - Chelmsford - and the one near my uni - Stratford - don't sell them. And they're never on the website. So that's just odd. Will have to do some more research on the topic, maybe ask at another branch sometime and see what they say.

I know nothing about this store but wave 1 Novis are fragile as hell so I don't know where he got the idea that MH isn't quality by compare.
Yeah, this was something I noticed too, they stocked a number of dolls which looked just as fragile and some which were clearly cheaply made barbie style knock offs. So it seemed really unlikely, part of why I thought he had to be talking out of his butt.
