Some good cages for gerbils! (sorry for my english)
Remember:
-Gerbils love cages that have more than 1 floor.
-I read gerbils need like 20 cm of bedding, I dont think they do, I have 2 and they perfectly fine with the much I give them. with a pair of inches is fine. Remember to add toilet paper (yes toilet paper), they use them like a bed, just cut it in strips, they will move it where they want.
-NEVER use wood bedding for your gerbils or other rodents!!! the pine wood or any conifer is toxic for them. Use recycled paper without ink or corncob granules (there is 2 types of granules, for small rodents and for bigger animals)
-A tank of 50 liters is perfect for 2 gerbils.
-Please always have at least 2 gerbils together. Gerbils are not solitary animals.
-Never keep 2 females gerbils together except they are sisters or mother and daughter. Females are territorial. You can have a pack of males gerbils or a male and a female (in this case remember to have space for the babies, they can have 1 to 10 babies, and they reproduce quickly)
