It is native to northern Africa where it inhabits sandy deserts and semi-arid areas. It is common in the Nile Delta area, in the Nile Valley and around oases.

An organization I volunteer at wanted an Easter greeting card, but they had made one with Al so I went and hand drew a greeting card for them instead bc I was pissed off about it
