Caitlyn Somerville (Tidal💫) comes from a small agricultural town in Colorado, so her exposure to theater was limited; however, she gravitated to the microphone and theatrical stage since before she can remember. She could always find herself performing at local competitions, fairs, sporting events, community theater and school productions. She knew in middle school when she landed her first ‘real role’ as Miss Adelaide from Guys and Dolls Jr. that she was hooked. She tried different things: modeling, sports, fashion design, marine biology, and English Lit, but nothing resonated for her like theater. After high school, she took a leap of faith and moved to New York City to attend the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and never looked back. Bringing her small town ethics and beliefs to the big city was a huge change, one that she happily embraced. She finds each new experience and encounter an amazing life story that she can bring with her to the stage.
