caitor replied to your post: Hey, hi. I haven't seen any other spoilers about...
Cool, because it was terrifying! Can you remember the long room where that bird chases you and throws things and you have to run? And at the end there’s a bell you can ring? Well, I ran through and as soon as I was out of the room, I turned back so I could examine everything. But it didn’t lead me to the previous room, but the weird one. So now I have an egg in key items. Description: Not too important, not too unimportant.
YEAH I REMEMBER THAT ROOM because it’s the closest I came to dying in the whole game. I confess that going back was the last thing on my mind once I was shot of that bird.
What the fuck, that does indeed sound creepy as all get out. Thanks for letting me know!
Hey, hi. I haven't seen any other spoilers about Deltarune so I just wanted to ask you a question- did you randomly walk back to the screen you just left and the current music was replaced with a low eerie one and there was just a path with a tree with a man hidden behind it who gives you an egg? And when you leave that screen you can't get back there? Because that happened to me. Does it happen to everyone? It was very abrupt.
O____O
Uh, nope! Nope, that never happened to me. Admittedly, I didn’t backtrack too much so I might not have had the opportunity, but that...that sure sounds like a thing and I have genuinely never seen it mentioned elsewhere.
What zone were you in when this happened?
caitor replied to your post: The fact that all this disaster ultimately started...
Well, the situation with Jester’s mum was already taken care of by the time the rest of the disaster happened. They were just trying to get some other info but things occurred and they reacted and now things are weird and dangerous!
I mean, fair enough, I did not realize the extent to which one plot had bled into another.
But I did still see some people being all aghast at how hard they went on Algar, though, so I think my fundamental point of “nah, from the sounds of it there is nothing they could do to this guy that would make me think less of them” still stands, though.

Oh, I didn’t remember that they had to escort her back! That does change things a little. I feel like there’s an opportunity to get Molly back (which I’d greatly approve of), but we’ll see what happen. Next week is gonna be super important!
I double checked, but yeah, CritRoleStats did a writeup reminder of the Gentlemen’s specifications and escorting her back was included!
“...travel northward [...] to parlay with Ophelia. Help her in absolving her from her current mire of complications and return with her here to Zadash.”
(It’s easy to forget minor details like this since that was ten episodes ago at this point.)
They technically haven’t even gotten paid yet, they only got an advance of 500 GP. The other 4500 is waiting for them upon successful delivery of Miss Mardun.
So she’s gonna be on the road with them for a couple of weeks and having them grateful to her can only work in her favor.
God, an opportunity is all I want. He deserves a chance. If the dice are bad during a resurrection ritual that’s one thing but at least give him the chance.

Unfortunately, Ophelia doesn’t believe she owes them anything since they’ve already been paid by The Gentleman to clear out the Iron Shepards (according to her). They did their duty, nothing more. The M9 can ask for a huge ass favour, though.
She does not seem like an unreasonable woman, they have proven themselves immensely capable fighters who are capable of following orders and acting with some degree of subtlety, and they do still have to escort her back to Zadash so she is going that way anyway. I have to believe she’d see the value of being owed a huge ass favor from the Mighty Nein in exchange for five hundred GP worth of diamonds and a spell slot, especially since this would take place out in the middle of nowhere so it’s not like she’d have much chance of being outed as participating in “illegal” resurrections.
Also, from a meta perspective, it is such a weird thing for her to have admitted to unless Matt didn’t want it to be an option somehow. Setting it up so they’d have to speedrun this and pull off basically a miracle to earn a Raise Dead spell seems like something he’d do, especially considering that he apparently was not expecting Lorenzo to die tonight.
Thank you for using my tagging system to find the source of the video yourself! I always try to keep the venue and date in mind for every gifset. =]
I love when people actually tag things! *follows*

Thank you, angel! I’m only halfway through it, at this point. But nearly there!!
