As the time for the scribes to send in a poem, in response to the mysterious message, some scribes sent theirs to the Lady Quill for approval. Unbeknownst to them, another poem was slipped in and included, under the seemingly innocuous title:
“Sir Lawrence and his Lady”
Shortly afterwards a, seemingly embarrassed, Lady Quill showed up to make sure that every copy was found and given to her personal possession. From those who got a quick look at the poem before it was taken, it seems to a somewhat crass, and amateurishly done, poem about the rumored story in which the malleable Sir Lawrence was sat on by the Lady of the scribes, containing lines such as:
Upon who she sat And squashed flat Turned into gum Stuck to her bum ……… To cover a pony It’s far from bony Let me be crass She got a large a… As of yet, the author of this poem is unknown, as is the method they used to get this in several scribes collections.

Sir Lilly Apple Wisp Rose Essence Noteworthy Cream Elsie
His official name coming as part of an attempt to differentiate between traditionally identical named first-born daughters, which proved unnecessary when he was a son instead, Sir Lawrence gained the informal name Cake for his unique method of infiltration, wherein he would hide within a cake of some kind. Despite the seeming limitations of this ploy it was very successful though this may be in part due to his claim that he could hide within even the tiniest cakes.
It was said, mostly by himself, that he had learned magic that allowed him to take on the properties of types of food, that he could be flattened and molded like dough or stretched like taffy. Though the validity of this is known only to him, Change and, presumably, Mentor Chauffoir it would explain a great number of his acts where the ability to snap himself distances or the ability to squeeze through tight spaces would have proved vital.
Despite the lack of belief in these abilities there is one story that continually gets passed around, in which Sir Lawrence, practicing making his body like gum, met the, literal, wrong end of a *certain* high lady of the scribes who wasn’t looking where she was sitting and was, unbeknownst to her, stuck to her for the rest of the day. As a gentleman Sir Lawrence refuses to comment on these matters and no-one dares to ask her.
As of now, Sir Lawrences whereabouts are unknown as he is off on some sort of mission/quest/adventure, the details of which are known only to him, Change and Mentor Chauffoir.

The Lady Change
Though all 3 clans use their skills to protect the land, there exists those that would harness their techniques to subvert the rule of this great kingdom. One of the most well-known of these events was the ‘Fighting Food Blight’, wherein a horde of animate though, we should stress, not self-aware creatures made of foodstuffs ravaged the land.
For days chocolate bunnies, marshmallow birds and other assorted beasts attacked crops and whatever else they could find, unable to be defeated as, when struck apart, they simply regenerated into multiple beasts. It seemed like there was no stopping these dangerous, yet unassuming creatures, until they came upon the Lady Change, at this point still just a young apprentice under her brother Sir Lawrence.
It was then through both her magical skill and truly prodigious appetite that she was able to stop the assault in it’s tracks and through careful examination even managed to learn how to harness the magic animating these beasts. Now wherever she goes she can summon up a pack of food based creatures, providing she has the supplies of course, as distractions, infiltrators or an extra ally.
But what of her brother, the great knight Lilly Apple Wisp Rose Essence Noteworthy Cream Elsie, known as Sir Lawrence for short, or informally Cake to his contemporaries? Well that is a story for another time…
