Hmm I see why you think of GaaNaru, since they started out as enemies, then Gaara changed because of Naruto. But honestly I see this song more suitable for SasuNaru after their second VOTE fight, when Sasuke realized that he's wrong and was about to go on his "redemption journey" outside Konoha. I mean Sasuke hurt Naruto and put him through much more pain than Gaara did🤷‍♀️ The music is good though, and I welcome GaaNaru-coded song recs because I love music. I'll probably put together my own playlist too👌

No, Naruto and Gaara aren't best friends. But the important part is that they have a deep friendship built from recognizing themselves in each other and they always support each other.

Naruto is one of the first people who truly understands Gaara's loneliness because he's lived through a similar kind of isolation. Their relationship has that feeling of, "You understand a part of me that almost nobody else can."

And their connection becomes lifelong. So even though they aren't constantly together, they're important to each other's lives and remain connected long after their initial encounters, cheering one another on from the sidelines in everything without envy, even when the other surpasses them in something monumental.

When Naruto learned Gaara became the Kazekage, Naruto wasn't jealous, he was delighted and it only further pumped him up to catch up. When Gaara saw that Naruto undoubtedly surpassed him in power, he didn't hold that against Naruto. It only fueled his admiration and reverence for Naruto's spirit.

If Gaara had been Naruto's teammate instead, Naruto would've loved Gaara above everyone else. (Dude just latches onto his teammates like that 😅)

I feel like Sasunaru never felt right to me. Gaanaru just feels so much better. I literally can’t stand when Sasunaru fans will find one scene of those two and try to turn it romantic on purpose..

100% agreed. Even though I'm a shipper I care about canon. I don't misinterpret a character's motives on purpose or twist the narrative to fit my ship. For example you won't see me saying GaaNaru fighting and trying to kill each other in the forest was romantic because fighting is never romantic. But SasuNaru fans can't seem to understand this.

I believe in the "friends to lovers" mode, which is realistic. The fictional "enemies to lovers" mode only work if the enemies become friends first, like GaaNaru. Even though SasuNaru are technically "friends" they don't even have a friendly vibe, much less romantic.

I will just say this much here. I've expressed my honest opinion on SasuNaru before when someone asked, but because of the bashing from their butthurt fans I've locked the post to followers only.
