Blythe Cake Shelves

Many years ago, Melissa contacted me for a commission to make Blythe size cake shelves for her Blythe Doll. Though I was comfortable making the 1/12 scale cake shelves, 1/6 shelves were very foreign to me. I also didn’t have a Blythe Doll for scale reference.

But Melissa was very patient and kind. She provided me with the measurements, and I took on this project.

She has generously shared photos with me. It’s so surreal seeing my own work in her beautiful Blythe cake shop.
