this scene is the literal PROOF the writers gave us that calbrina wasn’t superficial and their love was real
they showed us that in any universe, one where they both don’t have a throne, a crown, political power, royal status, and there’s literally NO HELL, they still find each other. they still have their connection no matter what.
it shows that caliban has feelings for sabrina EVEN WHEN SHE ISNT QUEEN. (he didn’t know sabrina in this world very well because, he wasn’t allowed to touch her, or even talk to her. but still, he hugged her back? why? because he wanted to!!! yea that screams love in the future)
and that sabrina loves caliban no matter what, even when he ISNT A PRINCE? she met up with so many people she knew in the AU, but the person she threw her arms around, the person she felt better just by seeing, knowing they were there, is caliban. it’s always been caliban for sabrina morningstar and thats a fact.
