The Sculptor Galaxy, C65 // Yang Ci Guang
One of the brightest galaxies in the night sky, the Sculptor Galaxy is a spiral galaxy located about 11 million light years away in the constellation of Sculptor, the Sculptor. Discovered by Caroline Herschel (1750-1848) in 1783, this galaxy is best seen in the autumn in the northern hemisphere.

Located at the center of the eponymous Sculptor Group, one of the nearest galaxy groups to the Milky Way, the Sculptor Galaxy is a bright star-forming galaxy. The central region is characterized by three massive clusters of stars formed as recently as 6 million years ago. The central region also contains a supermassive black hole, slightly heavier than that at the center of our galaxy.
